Back in February, SAP extended its maintenance
deadline for Business Suite 7 to 2027. However, SAP customers still face
tough decisions as they look to address cost and change management concerns,
and put forward a business case for migrating to SAP S/4HANA. Planning for 2027
will be no easy task for SAP users, especially as COVID-19 stretches budgets
and resources.
With that in mind, as part of the UKISUG Digital Showcase, the
User Group will be holding an expert panel on “Navigating
the SAP High Road to 2027” on the 4th November 2- 3:30pm.
The panel will include UKISUG Chairman, Paul Cooper, Constellation
Research Principal Analyst and Founder, R “Ray” Wang. From SAP
SE, SVP Head of Product Management SAP S/4HANA, Oliver
Betz and Senior Director, Global Program Office Sean Boileau will also
participate. The panellists will discuss the options for users facing the 2027
maintenance deadline, highlight the main things SAP users will need to consider,
and share their views on how different organisations should proceed. The floor
will then be open to the audience, giving attendees the chance to ask their own
questions.
After the event, all member attendees will receive a copy of
a new whitepaper – “Navigating the SAP High Road to 2027” – commissioned by the
User Group and written by R “Ray” Wang, ahead of its release.
This event is open for non-members too, who can sign up to attend as a guest for £150. Non-members can also attend by signing up for a new four-month membership option, gaining access to this symposium, the full range of events at the Digital Showcase, and all the other benefits of being a member.
