Network, Collaborate and Learn from home with the UKISUG Digital Showcase

The UK & Ireland SAP User Group is always looking for new ways to provide members with the opportunity to learn from peers, SAP experts and partners. With many of you still working from home and with in-person events cancelled, we have launched our first ever Digital Showcase, which is a series of informative virtual events we are running until the end of the year.

Our Digital Showcase is a jam-packed new event series which includes specialist sessions, workshops, webinars and online Symposia. The events will cover key topics for SAP users ranging from analytics to S/4 HANA adoption and Business One training, so there’s something for everyone.

The Digital Showcase kicked off at the start of the month with a practical workshop on conversational AI, where users could build and test their own SAP chatbot. Other hands-on events will be running throughout the Showcase, including the ABAP developers event on the 19^th and 20^th of October. This will run through the ABAP roadmap, before offering developers and architects a mix of lectures and workshops run by leading experts. We will also be hosting a usability testing event on the 21^st of October, giving attendees the chance to feedback directly on new and existing SAP solutions to the product teams designing them.

The Digital Showcase will feature three separate Symposia over the coming months, starting withour Analytics Symposium on the 22^nd of September. The Symposium will include keynotes from SAP Innovation Evangelist Timo Elliott, and G3G, as well as several breakout sessions for users looking to enhance their analytics knowledge. This will be followed up with a Data Symposium on the 29^th of October, which will offer advice from SAP experts and peers on data management. Finally, a Digital Insights Symposium in December will offer users guidance on everything from hyperscalers to SAP optimisation and financial excellence.

As part of the Digital Showcase there will be standalone topical webinars to help users keep up to date with the latest SAP issues. This will include a Brexit Webinar on the 1^st of October, aiming to answer questions on how SAP users can prepare for Brexit, and the impact it will have on SAP systems. In October, there will be webinars focusing on S/4 HANA adoption along the road to 2027 on the 14^th and the SAP skills gap on the 20^th, with more details to follow.
