Collaborate from home with UKISUG Jam

Published on

With the current lockdown measures in force, many of us across the UK and Ireland are working from home. With so many User Group members facing this challenge simultaneously, it’s never been more important for them to share useful tips with others.

The User Group is determined to bring the same level of support to members as it always has and to facilitate learning and collaboration. Over the coming months we will be hosting 50 User Group events virtually, to ensure that members are kept up to date and still receive advice from leading SAP experts.

However, it’s vital that members keep talking and learning from each other too. Through the UKISUG Jam platform, members from across the UK and Ireland can collaborate and discuss the challenges they are facing with their peers. The UKISUG Jam Platform allows users to post their burning questions, share their experiences and build relationships with members who are going through similar projects. The platform also has Special Interest Group areas, so you can be sure your queries go to the relevant peers, from Payroll or SuccessFactors, to Leonardo and S/4HANA.

One shining example is the Payroll Jam group. As Payroll members use SAP products to support a wide range of functions from employee benefits to pension contributions, it can be difficult to find the answer to every query. What’s more, payroll’s complex regulatory landscape means that legislation is changing all the time. The Payroll Jam group gives users a place to share their questions and have them answered quickly, by someone who has solved the problem they are facing.

The platform can also be used to organise community events and help members to share collective feedback with SAP. For SuccessFactors users, the Jam group is being used to arrange a session with SAP to highlight the challenges faced by many users when it comes to annual leave.

If you’d like to be set up on Jam, please send an email to the support inbox, requesting to be added to UKISUG Member Jam, listing any specific interest area groups you’d like to join in your email (e.g. Payroll, SuccessFactors). From there, you can ask questions, respond to others and catch up with like-minded users.
