Published on

The UK & Ireland SAP User Group, the independent voice that represents the SAP user community, is holding its annual conference at the ICC Birmingham, between the 1st and 3rd of December 2019. UKISUG CONNECT will bring together 1,000 SAP professionals and business users, including over 500 SAP customers, up to 80 exhibitors and in excess of 200 experts from across the UK & Ireland so they can offer up their expertise.

This year’s conference will focus on “engaging minds and empowering success”, featuring an agenda filled with interactive workshops and hours of networking opportunities. Throughout the event, delegates will have the opportunity to meet like-minded peers, share advice and interact with SAP and industry experts, so they can ensure they maximise their current and future investments in SAP. This year, there will even be dedicated SoapBox Sessions on the exhibition floor to offer more interactive demos to attendees. Additionally, new Networking RoundTable sessions will give users a chance to quiz SAP experts in a more informal environment, where they can ask burning questions and suggest discussion topics.

Keynote speeches will come from Paul Cooper, Chairman, UK&I SAP User Group, as well as SAP leaders including Jens Amail, MD, SAP UK&I, Angela Massey, Head of Customer Office EMEA North, SAP and Simon O’Kane, Managing Director EMEA of Qualtrics. There will also be a motivational keynote from author Paul McGee. Paul has written a number of bestselling books on how to succeed such as Shut Up Move On (S.U.M.O) and How to Succeed with People.

UKISUG CONNECT will offer more than 100 breakout sessions covering everything from Digital Transformation to SuccessFactors and S/4 HANA, Creating Disruptive Advantage, Financial Excellence, Payroll, the future of HR and User Experience. For the first time, the User Group will also be running a Customer Experience Management stream to help users better improve CX across their SAP-led solutions. Once again, the User Group will also be running SAP Business ByDesign and SAP Business One Special Interest Groups during the conference. The Usability Testing team will be present at the show, so users can test existing products and give on-the-spot feedback directly to SAP product teams.

SUGFest will be also making a return, with this year’s theme focusing on “The Greatest Show”, featuring a big top circus tent, a carousel bar with live music, Jesters lounge and a House of Cards which will be open till late.

“This year’s event will focus on engaging delegates and empowering them to succeed both within their organisation and personally,” commented Craig Dale, chief executive, UK & Ireland SAP User Group. “We are delighted to welcome an extensive line up of keynote and customer speakers again this year, covering all aspects of SAP. With such a packed agenda, UKISUG CONNECT will continue to be the event for SAP users to share insights, network with peers and learn about SAP’s future product developments.”
