SAP have announced the release of line-of-business editions of the SAP Innovation and Optimisation Pathfinder service, providing customers with insight into business performance and areas of optimisation for specific lines of business.
“Data from ERP systems can provide tremendous insight,” said Wassilios Lolas, global head, Customer Value Experience, SAP. “For example, in the finance function, data could indicate the number of times your company has made a delivery without sending a bill, or the number of times a customer payment is overdue. These data trends can provide tangible recommendations to help companies run better.”
With line-of-business editions of the SAP Innovation and Optimisation Pathfinder, customers receive business performance benchmarks against industry peers along with recommendations from the SAP Digital Business Services portfolio and SAP solutions. This helps managers in the line of business and IT choose their improvement and innovation road map quickly based on their infrastructure.
The editions cover six lines of business – finance, sales, procurement, manufacturing, asset management and supply chain. Recommendations are provided in plain English, making all information understandable to both IT and non-IT decision-makers. Each line-of-business edition report includes:
