UK & Ireland SAP User Group Elects Two New Board Members

Published on

The UK & Ireland SAP User Group (UKISUG) announced today it has elected two experienced SAP product professionals, Fiona Warburg and Michael Reaney, to its Board of Directors following a membership vote. As board members they will be responsible for the governance of the User Group, as well as helping to set the User Group’s strategy and direction. Fiona and Michael replace outgoing board members Glynn Lowth and John Weikert.

“We are delighted to welcome Fiona and Michael to the User Group’s board,” commented Philip Adams, Chairman of the UKISUG. “Both bring with them many years’ experience as customers of SAP and a detailed knowledge of both the challenges and opportunities that our growing group of members face. We are continually seeking fresh input and new ideas to the UKISUG – so Fiona and Michael’s first-hand understanding of running and implementing SAP supports this drive excellently.”

Fiona Warburg has worked in IT for over 20 years, with 14 years’ experience working directly with SAP systems – on both SAP projects and BAU support. She is currently a manager at EDF Energy, where she is responsible for ensuring optimum value is driven from investments in SAP. Prior to this, Fiona held technical and managerial SAP roles at Wales & West Utilities, Hewlett Packard and B&Q.

Michael Reaney has 40 years’ experience in the chemical industry with SABIC UK Petrochemicals, across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. He has been an Implementer and Business Process owner of Plant Maintenance and Project Systems processes in SAP for the past 15 years. Michael has served as Maintenance and Service Management UKISUG Special Interest Group Chair since 2010.
