Published on

The UK & Ireland SAP User Group (UKISUG), the independent voice that represents the SAP user community, is holding its award winning CONNECT annual conference at the ICC Birmingham, 26th - 28th of November 2023. UKISUG CONNECT will bring together more than 70 SAP partners and over 1,000 attendees from across the UK and Ireland so they can network and share insight.

The conference features a full agenda of interactive workshops and networking opportunities so attendees can learn as much as possible. In total UKISUG CONNECT will offer more than 90 hours of educational content and delegates will have the opportunity to meet and interact with SAP, industry experts, and policymakers, to help them maximise their current and future investments in SAP.

UKISUG CONNECT will offer more than 140 breakout sessions covering everything from application development & lifecycle management, business process insight, CX & UX, data & analytics, payroll & success factors, community & environment, the journey to S/4HANA and others. There will be a host of customer speaker sessions, including presentations by Diageo, The AA, M&S and many more. Throughout the event, there will be a series of Community & Environment sessions with a focus on Sustainability, Wellbeing and Women in SAP, alongside other interactive roundtables.

Following the popularity of the networking keynote last year, UKISUG CONNECT welcomes back Will Kintish, author of best-selling book ‘Business Networking – The Survival Guide’, who will be asking the question “Are you a nosey parker?”. The conference officially opens on day two, with opening keynotes from Paul Cooper, Chairman of UK&I SAP User Group, Ryan Poggi, Managing Director of SAP UK&I and a customer keynote from AstraZeneca.

To close UKISUG CONNECT, Cheryl Millyard, UKISUG board member will host a fireside chat with Fatima Whitbread, MBE. Fatima is a world javelin champion, world record holder and twice Olympic medallist. Fatima will share her rise to success as an Olympic medallist and the trials and tribulations as she reached her goal. In addition, she will talk animatedly about her TV career from I’m a Celebrity to her more recent documentaries.

Now in its 8th year, SUGFest returns under the theme ‘The Great SUGFest Ball’. It’ll be a time for attendees to get their gowns and bow ties on and enjoy an elegant evening of entertainment and wonderful food.

“The User Group team is hugely excited to host UKISUG CONNECT 2023!” commented Craig Dale, chief executive, UK & Ireland SAP User Group. “It was fantastic to be named Best UK Conference (Over 1,000 attendees), so the challenge is to keep raising the bar. We will again have a wide range of speakers and sessions covering a host of technology and business topics. UKISUG CONNECT remains the premier event to get the inside track on all things SAP in the UK and Ireland.”

UKISUG CONNECT is open to all SAP customers, with discounted rates for member organisations. For more information visit the website, or follow @SAPUserGroup and #UKISUGConnecton X as well as LinkedIn.
