At UKISUG we are always aiming to provide additional value to our members as they look to maximise their SAP investments. Over the past couple of years, we have published a number of whitepapers looking at issues such as SAP Skills and the Cost of Change, where we draw on the experiences of our members alongside partners and SAP itself.

We are pleased to announce that we have recently released two new whitepapers focusing on SAP and the public sector, and SAP certifications.

In our Digital Transformation in the UK Public Sector: How customers and SAP can work better together whitepaper, we delve into the current state of digital transformation in the public sector, SAP’s current offerings, and the challenges and considerations that organisations should be taking into account.

The whitepaper outlines 11 key steps to help make SAP implementation in the UK public sector a success. There has been much change in the public sector during and following the pandemic, but as our Chair Paul Cooper outlined in his latest ERP Today article, “many public sector bodies still rely on legacy equipment and software, highlighting there’s still a long way to go before we see advanced digital technologies powering the majority of government systems and services.”
