It isn't uncommon knowledge that SAP User groups have an uncanny ability to be the thorn in the side for SAP.
This is often due to sensationalised retellings of stats and data, lacking context, in order to paint an unflattering picture of RISE with SAP, tarring it a failure. Whilst the results of the survey weren't too controversial, and an honest representation of how our users view/use RISE with SAP, there is no intention for this to be a scathing report but an opportunity for SAP to use that data to instruct how they continue.
Jon Reed, for diginomica, explains that again this isn't a RISE problem but 'an older, but still pressing challenge: building an effective S/4HANA business case'. Derek du Preez was kind enough to attend Connect 2021 and share his findings from users, partners and us, UKISUG.
