Welcome to your March News
Chairman's Note
I would like to start this newsletter by thanking the User Group Team, our Volunteers and the support of our Partners for your flexibility and hard work supporting UKISUG over the last month. The safety of our staff and members is of paramount importance to us and last week we took the decision to suspend all in person events during the continuing battle with COVID-19.
However, Craig and Team have put together options and ideas to ensure you have the opportunity to take part in a range of ‘virtual’ events and activities over the coming months! We also welcome and encourage your ideas of things we can do to support your Learning, Networking, Collaboration and Influencing at this difficult time.
And, as we move online – we would love to hear your SAP story in the form of a webinar! I find it is much less daunting to present remotely and as we all know, customer stories are most interesting to our members. If you would like to be involved, or simply have some ideas on what content you would like to see presented online, please email Kirsten.Boucher@sapusers.org, contact your SIG chair or get posting on UKISUG Jam! If you’re not yet involved in Jam, you can find out more and request to join here. The UKISUG Jam platform is a great way of keeping in touch with the SAP Community, especially in these times of isolation. If you need advice, have a question or simply would like to network with like-minded members whilst remote working is key, head to the UKISUG Jam.
Elsewhere, a number of the events we had planned to run over the next couple of months (including Symposia) will be re-scheduled for the autumn. Keep following our Events Calendar and Events Newsletter for updates.
Finally, please stay safe during this unprecedented period, follow the scientific and government advice and keep washing your hands!

Get involved in our bigger than ever webinar programme! Browse the events calendar for a webinar that is right for you, or take a look at our guide on how to access previous webinars. Interested in taking part in a webinar or have an idea of content you'd like to see? Email Kirsten.Boucher@sapusers.org with your thoughts.
Network with your peers remotely with our Jam Platform! We know that isolation is tough when it comes to staying connected to your SAP community, and with the cancellation of our events, we understand the struggle. Stay in touch with your SAP community via our Jam Collaboration Platform! We have a member group and groups based on interested areas, where you can ask questions, ask opinions or simply just network with like-minded individuals. We will also share new and updated documentation there first.
Influence SAP! Thanks for all that got involved in the last Customer Engagement Initiative. SAP informed us that UKISUG members had the highest interest. Check out all currently open Influence opportunities here – and use the filter on the left to specify for your areas of interest (select by Products and Industries). Contact Vicky.lane@sapusers.org if you require any further assistance.
Registration for the following opportunities will end within the next 2 weeks!
Find your perfect partner or help your peers to! Have you had a look at your Affiliate Portal yet? If you are trying to find a partner for your next SAP project you can now filter through over 140 in the SAP marketplace with just a few clicks whilst viewing their star rating and feedback given by your fellow User Group members! You’ll also have all the information you’ll need about that Affiliate to help in your decision including key contacts, news, documentation and case studies. Is one of your partners a User Group Affiliate? Leave them a review to help your fellow members in their search.
