Welcome to your June News
Chairman's Note
Good day,
I hope that you, your family and colleagues are still staying safe and healthy while following the government's evolving guidelines as we begin our journey out of lockdown.
We are continuing to run an extensive programme of virtual events and these will continue into July (in the past we have only delivered a limited number of events during July but this year we have extended our reach to support you our members at this difficult time).
This week SAP has run their virtual SAPPHIRE NOW Reimagined event - if you were unable to join the sessions the content for our region (EMEA North) is available online here - including a link to the opening keynote delivered for the first time by the new SAP CEO Christian Klein.
In addition one of our regular highly rated conference speakers Timo Elliot (VP Global Innovation Evangelist, SAP) delivered part of the ‘Respond, Recover, and Reimagine Business in the New Transformation’ session which is worth viewing. Next week ASUG will be running their virtual event ASUG Forward (remember as a member of UKISUG you can access ASUG Events and content).
Earlier this month the User Groups CEO released a video blog with all the latest news from the User Group, including information about our soon to be released white papers - The High Road to 2027 and SAP Skills. Plus a summary of the changes SAP have made to the Digital Adoption Access Programme and the maintenance of key products like SAP ERP, following their consultation and engagement with the global User Group community. Rather than reading my words why not take a look at Craig's video here.
Finally, remember the offer to purchase SAP Learning Hub at a considerable discount through UKISUG is still running… but it ends soon so please take a look at this promotion here!
Stay safe and keep washing your hands!

SAP Licence Optimisation and Audit as a Service
We at Grey Monarch have been helping our customers optimise their SAP licence inventory and prepare them for audit for over 10 years. We find that more and more organisations simply want to outsource the whole licence optimisation and audit process to us.
We understand why; licence audits are time consuming, involve lots of manual effort, and they require specialist knowledge of SAP licensing and usage. Getting it wrong, or leaving it to the last minute, can be both fraught and expensive.
We introduced SAP Licence Optimisation as a Service which is a combination of cloud hosted ProfileTailor™ LicenceAuditor, our services and SAP licensing expertise, along with our ongoing SAP licence optimisation and management process.
It is simple and the outcomes are highly measurable;
